• Contribute to and communicate a compelling product strategy for distributed database, OLTP systems, and high-availability solutions. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, working with senior product leaders on overall roadmap. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product vision into detailed technical requirements. • Partner with Product Marketing to support development of positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. • Serve as a technical product expert and collaborate with developer relations to support open-source community. • Ensure alignment across engineering, marketing, sales, and support.
• 5+ years of professional product management experience required. • Must possess 2+ years of product management experience focused on core database technologies. • A strong technical background focused on core database development or an equivalent BS in Computer Science or Engineering degree. • Strong understanding of distributed database architectures (e.g., CAP theorem, sharding, consensus protocols, replication) and OLTP systems. • Proven track record of launching successful enterprise software or SaaS products from concept to market adoption. • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
