• Lead the full software development lifecycle from application design and API implementation through deployment and feature monitoring • Connect production applications with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain and interoperability protocols such as MCP and A2A • Develop secure, versioned application data models enforcing multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data classification • Build services deploying consistently across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments using automated CI/CD pipelines • Define and meet feature-level performance goals through query optimization, code profiling, caching, and security practices • Own application components, facilitate design and code reviews, mentor team members, and drive decisions in an async-first environment • Interact directly with customers and product leadership while owning meaningful system components end-to-end
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on data-intensive applications, database-adjacent features, or enterprise software • End-to-end ownership of a non-trivial production feature or module from functional specification through production • Production experience deploying, debugging, and managing application services across at least two major public clouds, including AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation systems • Experience building LLM-based applications or workflows using AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen • Strong proficiency in Python and high proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or C++ • Proficiency with relational databases, complex SQL, structural indexing, query optimization, transactions, and schema design • Experience implementing temporal data models, event-driven tracking, audit logs, or system-versioned tables • Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, row-level security, and multi-tenant data isolation • Proficiency with structured logging, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, and functional alerting • Experience designing and implementing REST and/or gRPC APIs • MariaDB does not sponsor work visas or relocation
