⢠Define and execute product strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs. ⢠Build and manage the product roadmap, balancing innovation, modernization, customer value, and commercial outcomes. ⢠Identify growth opportunities, strategic investments, and competitive differentiators through customer insights, market research, and analytics. ⢠Own product features and capabilities across retail operations, including Point of Sale (POS), Inventory Management, Purchasing & Supplier Management, Customer Management, Loyalty & Promotions, Omnichannel Retail, Payments, Reporting & Analytics, and Integrations. ⢠Drive product discovery, requirements gathering, validation, launch planning, and adoption measurement to ensure products solve meaningful customer problems. ⢠Develop a deep understanding of retailer workflows and operational challenges through customer interviews, workshops, usability sessions, and feedback reviews, translating insights into impactful product initiatives. ⢠Build strong relationships with merchants, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product outcomes. ⢠Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. ⢠Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams throughout the product lifecycle. ⢠Participate in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management to ensure timely delivery and successful product launches. ⢠Help drive Retail Express modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, platform scalability, API enablement, and ecosystem expansion. ⢠Partner with architecture and engineering teams to balance technical investments with customer-facing innovation. ⢠Contribute to Maropost's broader Unified Platform strategy by identifying opportunities to connect Retail Express with Commerce Cloud, Merchandising Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Da Vinci AI. ⢠Define and monitor product KPIs, customer adoption, engagement, retention, operational efficiency, and business outcomes, using data to continuously optimize product performance and customer experience.
⢠3-6 years of Product Management experience in SaaS, retail technology, ecommerce, POS, ERP, payments, inventory management, or related domains. ⢠Strong understanding of product management fundamentals, including product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and execution. ⢠Experience collaborating with Engineering and Design teams in Agile environments. ⢠Ability to analyze customer problems and translate them into practical, customer-centric solutions. ⢠Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. ⢠Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide product decisions. ⢠Experience writing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. ⢠Strong commercial awareness with a customer-first approach. ⢠Experience with retail operations, POS systems, inventory management, omnichannel commerce or Accounting and Financial Systems is highly desirable. ⢠Exposure to payments, loyalty programs, customer engagement platforms, or retail integrations is a plus. ⢠Experience with cloud modernization or platform transformation initiatives is an advantage. ⢠Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, or workflow optimization technologies is preferred. ⢠Knowledge of the Australian retail market is beneficial.
