📋 Description

• Assist the Audit Manager, ISA/Head ISA in preparing quarterly presentations for the Board Audit Committee, Internal Shariah Supervision Committee, and CEO review • Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Shari’ah Governance and internal controls across Islamic businesses, branches, departments, activities, and subsidiaries • Conduct Shari’ah field audits and reviews according to the approved Internal Shari’ah Audit plan and audit program • Maintain audit work papers and update Shari’ah audit procedures and coverage • Manage small Shari’ah audit teams of 2–3 members as Shari’ah Auditor in Charge • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to unit management and develop Shari’ah audit action plans • Follow up with management on timely implementation of action plans • Coordinate with Internal Audit and exchange relevant information, findings, and reports • Contribute to ISSC, BAC, and IAG MBO Review presentations and annual planning • Maintain GRAM score sheets, participate in Audit Challenge sessions, update the Internal Shariah Audit Manual, and manage IAG intranet pages • Assign risk ratings, prepare and finalize audit reports and action plans, allocate resources, and develop risk-based audit plans • Resolve tactical issues relating to audit findings and obtain acceptance for corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• CA /CPA/ ACCA/MBA in Finance & Accounting, preferably with CIA or Banking Diploma • University degree in Islamic Shari'ah or relevant specializations • Professional certification like CSAA in Shari'ah and Islamic Banking Audit from AAOIFI/CIBAFI • 5-7 years of experience in a bank's audit department or an audit firm, with at least 5 years in Shari'ah audit • Muslim candidate with strong command of spoken and written English, and reasonable Arabic proficiency • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software and tools for audit processes • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and convey audit findings • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
