📋 Description
• Conduct financial analysis on potential venture capital investments, including due diligence on financial statements, market trends, and business models. • Evaluate investment opportunities, prepare financial models, and assess the potential risks and returns. • Collaborate with the investment team to conduct industry research and stay informed about market trends. • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Monitor the financial performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates to the investment team. • Work closely with portfolio companies to support their financial planning and strategic initiatives. • Conduct valuations and financial assessments to guide investment decision-making. • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and their potential impact on investment strategies.
🎯 Requirements
• Have or are currently obtaining a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. • Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in venture capital or private equity • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Knowledge of venture capital and startup ecosystem trends • Familiarity with financial software and tools used in venture finance
