📋 Description

• Draft and prepare litigation documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery responses, notices, and correspondence • E-file documents in Ohio and Kentucky courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines • Coordinate hearings, schedule court appearances, and maintain attorney calendars • Serve as a primary point of contact between attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel on assigned matters • Review and respond to client system messages and inquiries daily • Assist with case progression through judgment, sale, and post-sale litigation activity • Maintain organized, accurate electronic case files and ensure budgets and client requirements are met

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience handling mortgage foreclosure litigation matters (Ohio and/or Kentucky strongly preferred) • 1–3+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience • Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience • Strong knowledge of court filing systems, litigation deadlines, and document accuracy standards • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
