📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight for core month-end close activities • Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures across all supported practices • Establish and maintain standardized close calendars and documentation standards • Serve as an escalation point for complex accounting matters • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting directors, managers, and senior accounting professionals • Drive standardization of recurring manual journal entries and reconciliations • Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls in alignment with SOX requirements • Communicate accounting risks and trends to senior finance leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of operational accounting teams • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Experience supporting complex, multi-entity environments • Experience in healthcare, shared services, or large enterprise environments • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and account reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine) • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
