📋 Description

• Work with revenue cycle project leaders to understand business processes and develop reporting and analytics for monitoring financial performance • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders • Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis • Collaborate with data teams and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting • Create complex DAX calculations and measures • Ensure data security and compliance with best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI report issues • Provide training and support to Power BI end users • Keep current with Power BI features and trends • Prepare recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards • Maintain working knowledge of client-specific data, including payer mix, insurance and financial classes, patient access system details, and data timing issues • Support day-to-day operations with ad-hoc analyses • Communicate and collaborate with team members and clients to develop solutions • Analyze and solve problems quickly and thoroughly • Use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information only according to HIPAA standards • Comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures • Limit viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary to perform assigned duties • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields • Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation • 1–3 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics position in the healthcare industry • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction • Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts • Thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with large data sets • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with sound judgment and decision-making based on accurate and timely analyses • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes
