📋 Description

• Collaborate with and support a cross-functional team • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases • Review and analyze system specifications • Conduct manual and automated testing before product launches • Test complex and highly integrated software systems in an agile development environment • Plan and design test strategies and QA procedures • Participate in requirements review and story refinement • Coordinate test planning and execution with team members • Advocate for prescribed quality practices and communicate quality risks, impacts, and mitigations • Coordinate feature-level integration testing with the QA Lead • Analyze, maintain, and track testing defects • Validate conformance to requirements and acceptance criteria • Derive acceptance criteria with Product when needed • Ensure stories meet the Definition of Done • Summarize testing and validation results and communicate status • Escalate issues or obstacles appropriately and promptly • Participate in retrospectives, meetings, and reviews • Provide status updates according to the team’s established process • Support deployments to QA and higher environments, including running and debugging deployment jobs

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role • Ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, and deliver results with minimal supervision • Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Development teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Practical knowledge of database operations and industry best practices • Ability to provide clear, accurate, and timely end-of-day status updates • Strong documentation skills • Ability to create test plans, test cases, test results, defect reports, and related quality documentation • Working knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium and AWS • Working knowledge of SQL • Experience with test management tools such as QMetry • Strong working knowledge of bug and task tracking tools such as JIRA • Ability to perform data validation using effective SQL queries • Ability to support QA and higher-environment deployments • Ability to use Jenkins and run and debug deployment jobs • Experience with ETL/Data Quality testing is desirable • Working knowledge of API testing • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts clearly and effectively • Demonstrated ability to make effective and timely decisions aligned with departmental objectives and best practices • Ability to manage multiple complex and demanding projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain quality
