📋 Description

• Prepare for each class by reviewing existing online course content • Follow the existing syllabus and course outline • Communicate with students via our online learning system • Check-in and post to the class six days a week • Post check-in schedule in the first module • Respond to questions within 24 hours • Be responsive to student needs and concerns • Evaluate and grade student work • Provide assignment feedback within 3 business days of the close of the module period • Participate in class discussions as indicated in the course outline • Complete and submit all progress grades as well as mid-term and final grades • Email students who are absent from class • Communicate concerns to other University departments as needed • Perform additional instructor duties as assigned by the Department Director • Participate in University training for teaching in Brightspace

🎯 Requirements

• A positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset to successfully troubleshoot a variety of technical matters. • Strong time management and organizational skill sets. • A passion for art and design with at least two years of professional experience. • Professional work experience must relate directly to the skills taught in the class. • Knowledge of PCs and Macs is highly preferred. • Respective software program and/or tool shop knowledge is necessary. • BFA or MFA as well as prior teaching experience is preferred. • A master’s degree is required for teaching graduate level courses.
