• theMednet is looking for an academic oncologist to join our team of engineers and physicians. • You would be working with friendly, like-minded peers who are passionate about improving cancer care. • We are an ego-free environment and are laser focused on our mission of helping oncologists deliver the best care to their patients. • theMednet office is located in New York City, but this role can be filled remotely. • One day out of the week may be used for direct patient care. • The physicians at theMednet maintain their faculty appointments and clinical practices 1 day/week. • The Oncology Director will head content, engagement, and expansion of our oncology sections and oversee our multidisciplinary virtual tumor board program and ASCO & ASTRO Journal Club programs. • He or she will establish relationships with oncologists all over the country, establish new educational initiatives, provide editorial oversight, and oversee expansion into further oncology related subspecialties.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be based in the United States • Passion for improving the quality of cancer care on a large scale • Excellent writing and communication • Possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to think critically and creatively to develop and optimize efficient workflows • Board certified or board eligible in medical oncology and hematology • Broad knowledge base of solid and hematologic malignancies and hematology • Outgoing, friendly, and creative personality. • Maintain part time clinical practice (1 day/week)
