• Leading initiatives to align Medtronic’s solutions with the needs and procurement frameworks of GPOs and health authorities. • Cultivating strategic relationships with GPO and health authorities to uncover new business opportunities. • Monitoring and analyzing GPO/HA-related market dynamics and providing regular insights. • Collaborating across teams to drive strategic initiatives with regional SAM teams. • Designing and delivering tailored innovative value propositions emphasizing quality and cost-effectiveness. • Leading deal negotiation and management of contracts with GPOs and health authorities. • Optimizing procurement processes and pricing strategies to improve efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field. • Proven experience (15+ years) in strategic account management, business development, healthcare sales, or procurement strategy, ideally with a focus on GPOs or similar large-scale healthcare purchasers. • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement practices and processes, group purchasing dynamics, and public health authority frameworks, market access, ideally in multiple regions or countries. • Proven track record in contract negotiation and account management with large healthcare entities or purchasing organizations. • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain senior-level relationships, particularly at the C-suite level. • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with experience in in creating data-driven value propositions. • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, reimbursement policies, and cost-containment practices. • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; capable of collaborating effectively with cross-regional teams, being agile to adapt to change, and leading through influence. • Understanding of financial performance analysis, business case development, and operational KPIs. • Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree is considered a plus. • Experience working with healthcare procurement entities across multiple regions or countries is considered a plus. • Familiarity with CRM and analytics tools for account and contract management is considered a plus.
