Méliuz is a Brazilian consumer-facing cashback and coupon platform that helps shoppers save money by offering discount codes and returning a portion of purchases as cashback. It provides a website, mobile app, and browser extension that activate coupons and cashback automatically across hundreds of partner online stores, and allows users to track and withdraw accumulated cashback.

📋 Description

• Develop and evolve internal backend platform libraries (Go, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript) that standardize services across engineering; • Build event-driven services and microservices on AWS and Kubernetes; • Develop and evolve gRPC and REST APIs, and integrations with AWS services (SNS, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, SSM) and third-party APIs; • Contribute to improving the platform's reliability and observability; • Collaborate with the team to define and evolve technical solutions; • Participate in the evolution of the backend platform, contributing to the continuous improvement of standards, tools and processes used by engineering; • Share knowledge with the team and promote engineering best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing backend services with Go, Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with proficiency in at least two of these languages; • Experience with event-driven architecture and production-grade microservices; • Experience building client-server applications and gRPC and/or REST APIs; • Experience implementing solutions on AWS (SNS, SQS, S3, IAM, SSM/Secrets Manager); • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes; • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL); • Experience with caching layers (Redis/Valkey); • Practice with testing (unit and integration) and CI/CD; • Proficiency with Git and versioning workflows; • Experience with observability and performance analysis (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Grafana and Sentry).
