📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT security team. • In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's digital infrastructure and sensitive information from internal and external threats. • You will work closely with IT, development, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data. • Duties Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, incidents, and vulnerabilities. • Implement and maintain firewalls, encryption, and other security measures. • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. • Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing detailed reports and mitigation strategies. • Maintain and update security policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with industry standards. • Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices. • Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants on security audits and assessments. • Ensure systems and software are updated with the latest security patches and fixes. • Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Proven experience in a cybersecurity role or related IT security field. • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). • Proficiency in security tools such as SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection platforms. • Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
