📋 Description

• Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using the University’s current course materials. • Provide each student the opportunity to grow, develop, and achieve academic success by maintaining an engaged classroom presence. • Perform a variety of additional duties, such as coaching, tutoring, and identifying appropriate additional resources, as determined by specific course and or program requirements. • Attend various faculty meetings and University events as required. • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge of content area(s). • Instruct and perform other job-related required duties in an online environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing OR • Doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing OR • Master’s degree in Nursing • Requires an active unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California • Must have 5 years’ experience in a clinical nursing practice setting in community health and/or public health • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution • Acceptable professional positions can include but are not limited to: Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and/or Nurse Educator with a focus in Public Health and/or community health • A minimum of 2 years of current applicable experience within the last 5 years • All faculty members must have one record of scholarship annually, within a rolling one-year timeframe, that meets UOPX’s definition of scholarship engagement.
