📋 Description

• As an IP/Patent Manager (m/f/d), you will make an important contribution to protecting and further developing our innovative medicines. • Manage and strategically safeguard our patents and trademarks • Provide support as part of the global Legal & Governance team • Oversee and manage patent and trademark portfolios for our products and development projects • Strategically protect internal inventions and developments through targeted IP measures • Perform and coordinate freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses in patent and trademark law • Conduct research and continuous monitoring of third‑party intellectual property rights • Collaborate in interdisciplinary project teams and provide IP-legal advice to the specialist departments • Assess IP-related aspects as part of due diligence processes • Develop and maintain the trademark/brand strategy in collaboration with the Head of Global IP • Prepare decision papers and presentations for management on IP-related topics

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biology • 3–5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a patent/IP department • Good knowledge of European and German patent law • Proficient in using IP databases and digital research tools • Willingness to engage with trademark-related issues and to actively contribute • Structured, analytical and independent working style • Strong communication skills, team orientation and entrepreneurial mindset • Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
