📋 Description
• Metabase provides tools for insights from data, suitable for startups to major corporations. • The BizOps & Finance team seeks a high-performer to manage accounting, external audit, tax, and payments. • Oversee external accounting firms while potentially bringing functions in-house. • Design and build-out internal systems, processes, and reporting. • Significant exposure to financial management of a rapidly growing company. • Opportunity to own and grow accounting functions in a small team setting.
🎯 Requirements
• Rock-solid quantitative skills: error-free analysis and reports, problem-solving in bookkeeping. • Strong organizational and project-management skills. • CPA with strong knowledge of GAAP. • 3-5 years experience, preferably in a startup, high-growth company, or public accounting firm. • Strong quantitative undergraduate degree. • Based in the US or Canada. • Low-ego attitude: no job should be too small or too large. • Nice-to-have: experience with tax compliance and external auditors. • Nice-to-have: familiarity with QBO. • Nice-to-have: some knowledge of SQL or a scripting language (e.g. python, javascript, VBA).
