📋 Description

• Lead a team of software engineers to implement high-quality technology solutions • Manage resource allocation through accurate estimation and meet utilization targets • Ensure adherence to time-logging standards • Proactively unblock engineers and escalate technical issues to the Head of Engineering • Report ticket estimate overages to the Project Manager and Head of Engineering • Maintain certification milestones and dates for all team members • Adhere to quality and security standards and prevent requirements defects • Support work-in-progress cycle times under 2 days • Ensure code reviews are completed within 4 business hours • Ensure QA is completed within 2 days • Delegate tasks using the 5 Levels of Leadership • Apply Manager Tools best practices for retention • Participate in hiring using the WHO method • Recruit and retain engineering talent, targeting 90%+ A-player acquisition and high retention

🎯 Requirements

• Agreement with the Corporate Values Statement • Belief in the company's mission to help people • Belief in open-source principles • Advanced to fluent English communication skills • 8+ years of experience as a Tech Leader • Proven ability to lead a team of software engineers • Experience in technical estimation and resource allocation • Expertise in engineering quality and security standards • Ability to create quality software with zero major defects and/or bugs released • Familiarity with the WHO method for hiring and talent acquisition • Knowledge of Manager Tools best practices for team retention • Ability to implement delegation according to the 5 Levels of Leadership • Commitment to ongoing role certification and professional development • Ability to maintain rapid communication and meet strict cycle-time targets • Must be residing in Brazil • Resume must be submitted in English as a PDF • No visa sponsorship available
