📋 Description

• Provide operational technical services to defined customer accounts • Promote Metsä Board 360 services • Manage trials, product tests, and qualification processes to maximise successful outcomes • Collaborate with customers, colleagues, and co-suppliers on environmental and sustainability queries, product suitability, manufacturing issues, and specialist training • Facilitate information flow between the market/customers and Metsä Board, keeping customers informed of product and service benefits • Work collaboratively within account management teams alongside sales and production site colleagues • Build and maintain connections between the market, sales, and production units • Rapidly communicate significant information to colleagues • Report to the Director, Technical Services Europe

🎯 Requirements

• Sound understanding of the conversion of paperboard to finished cartons • Experience or specialism in one or more of: board manufacturing; lithographic offset, flexographic, or digital printing; die cutting, creasing, folding, or gluing; corrugated production; adhesive/glue or ink technologies and manufacturing • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Logical approach to problem-solving • Natural curiosity to investigate technical details • Ability to conclude effectively • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office • Degree or similar vocational qualification in paperboard, print, or related trades, or equivalent background in another manufacturing field • Experience in technical sales or services in an international business context • Proactivity and results orientation • Ability to implement plans into action • Fluency in written and spoken English • Other language skills and cultural understanding are advantageous • Familiarity with SAP and AI applications is advantageous
