📋 Description

• Write and implement PLC code, integrate subsystems, and assist in all on-site commissioning efforts. • Utilize “Human Machine Interface” (HMI) using commercially available products such as Ignition, Aveva Intouch Wonderware, Aveva Edge (Indusoft) or FactoryTalk View to develop interface solutions. • Implement PLC and HMI programs to satisfy current design and customer specifications under the supervision of Sr Controls Engineers. • Able to review and understand electrical designs. • As part of a team, support the commissioning of complex automated systems, provide site engineering support, and participate in system acceptance testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or comparable. • Familiar with basic electronic/electrical schematics or components • Preferred: 0-2 years of experience within an industrial controls environment which includes: • PLC programming (Rockwell Software, Siemens or Schneider) • HMI Programming (FactoryTalk View or Ignition) • Familiar with IO devices and device layout. • Industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Devicenet, Profinet, etc.) • Low voltage electrical design and drawing creation. • Equivalent work experience will also be considered as a substitute for education. • Experience with Microsoft 365 - Office Apps.
