• The Field Applications Scientist (FAS) is a key member of Miltenyi’s Commercial Sales team, playing a central role in customer success across flow cytometry, imaging, and clinical cell and gene therapy manufacturing platforms. • Collaborate with sales team members to understand customer requirements and design appropriate technical solutions. • Perform onsite and virtual product demonstrations for instruments and applications, including seminars, workshops, and “lunch and learn” sessions. • Act as the primary field technical support for assigned instrument portfolios, providing onsite installation support and initial end-user training. • Provide timely responses to customer technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues remotely and onsite, in collaboration with Technical Support, Field Service Engineers, and other internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field (Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline) • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in biological sciences, cellular therapy, flow cytometry, microscopy/spatial biology, or related field. • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following domains is required: cellular therapy/cell and gene therapy, flow cytometry, or microscopy/spatial biology. • Customer-facing experience in field applications, technical support, or comparable roles is strongly preferred. • Experience in clinical or regulated environments is a plus where applicable.
