📋 Description

• Build software services and APIs using Python frameworks, ideally FastAPI • Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure from a software engineering perspective • Handle core networking components including WAF and CDN • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform • Deploy scalable services using Kubernetes, specifically AKS, and Docker • Implement end-to-end data solutions • Ensure data flows correctly across real-time architectures using Kafka/Kinesis and batch architectures • Set technical direction and align core system designs with strategic goals • Drive Python language and technology adoption across multiple teams • Define and promote engineering, testing, quality, security, observability, and performance best practices • Collaborate on CI/CD workflows and automated deployment pipelines • Support and monitor critical production systems • Lead resolution and post-mortem analysis of complex technical issues • Drive continuous process improvement across Agile teams • Work closely with leadership, including the CEO and COO, and clients • Guide and teach others while collaborating with an agile team

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in software design and architectural principles • Ability to solve complex infrastructure and data modeling challenges • Experience setting technical direction and communicating architectures to diverse stakeholders • At least 7 years of experience with Azure and cloud infrastructure, including Networking, WAF, and CDN • At least 7 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Hands-on experience with AKS/Kubernetes and Docker • At least 10 years of Python development experience • Deep expertise organizing Python projects and building web services with FastAPI • Expertise in advanced debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting high-throughput Python applications • Expertise in modern testing methodologies, automated test frameworks, and quality assurance strategies • Experience embedding security into the software development lifecycle • Experience optimizing Python applications and data pipelines for performance, resource efficiency, and observability • Experience with CI/CD workflows, DevOps capabilities, and automated deployment pipelines • Deep expertise supporting, monitoring, and operating critical production software systems • Expert-level execution within Agile frameworks • Exceptional technical communication skills in English • Experience building AI-enabled applications, particularly recommendation or conversational systems • Experience with evaluation frameworks for LLM or AI systems • Clear understanding of how AI systems differ from traditional deterministic systems
