📋 Description

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks • Take CAD geometry and set up and run simulations • Build verified reference solutions • Write Python checks for AI agent results • Perform project work estimated at around 10–20 hours per week during active phases

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil & gas • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing • Solid verification and validation practice, including mesh-independence studies and validation against experiment or benchmarks • Comfortable with Python and GitHub • English at B2 level or above • PhD preferred but not required • Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background • Nice to have: multiphase or particle-laden flow experience
