📋 Description

• Design, deploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis k0rdent and other Kubernetes-related products • Design, deploy and test product cloud infrastructure on top of open-source components • Research, develop, and implement CI/CD tooling to ensure product workability and performance • Participate in designing and developing tools for deploying Kubernetes environments • Make recommendations based on test results for Mirantis development teams and the open source community • Participate in requirements, design, planning, estimation, prioritization, and retrospective meetings • Work with a geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environment • Help resolve customer issues and support product adoption • Collaborate at the intersection of DevOps and QA engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Thorough understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes • DevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspects • At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) • Deep understanding of OS; ability to debug and tune underperforming systems and troubleshoot hardware issues • Experience with version control systems such as Git • Familiarity with code-review systems like Gerrit or GerritHub • Direct experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field • Good communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on results • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English • (Nice to have) Golang experience • (Nice to have) Experience with Kubernetes cluster management tooling (Rancher, Gardener, Tanzu) • (Nice to have) Experience with open source development • (Nice to have) Experience with instrumenting and utilizing monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) • (Nice to have) OpenStack and VMware ecosystems knowledge • (Nice to have) Experience with high load systems
