📋 Description

• Build and extend Go services, database schemas, and REST API endpoints for the k0rdent AI platform • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests • Debug failures across API responses, service code, workflow orchestration, and Kubernetes clusters • Contribute to internal tooling, automation, and client SDKs • Participate in code reviews • Write and update technical documentation • Take on unfamiliar problems, learn surrounding technologies, and deliver working solutions • Work within an agile framework and ship production features • Collaborate with senior engineers across the US, Europe, and India

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated ability • Alternatively, 6 months to 1 year of related experience • Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, networking, HTTP, and databases • Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language: Go, Java, C++, Rust, C#, or Python • Ability to become productive in Go quickly • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling • Comfort with Git, the command line, and Linux • Evidence of self-driven building through internships, personal projects, open-source contributions, hackathons, or advanced coursework • Clear written communication for explaining problems and proposed fixes to a distributed team • Curiosity about infrastructure, distributed systems, and large-scale platforms • Authorization to work in the United States • Willingness to receive rigorous code review and act on feedback • Ability to explain how you test and validate your own code • Something built that the candidate can explain in detail • Nice to have: exposure to Go, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, kubectl, Helm, AWS, Azure, GCP, REST API design, OpenAPI, client SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, AI/ML infrastructure, GPU computing, distributed systems, Python, TypeScript, open source, security, systems programming, or CTFs
