📋 Description

• Provide automation and test support for software releases, focusing on the automation test platform • Analyze logs and debug ongoing processes • Update existing automation tests from the backlog • Coordinate with the network team • Write and deploy automated tests in two substantial internal test environments • Collaborate across departments to understand project scopes • Report on testing progress • Develop new test automation methodologies • Mentor team members • Use a custom Python-Selenium-based automation framework for thorough testing • Create and implement new test scripts for comprehensive end-to-end product testing • Review executed test results using test framework logs, product logs, and traffic dumps to identify issues • Maintain, support, and extend the existing automation framework • Develop tools to enhance automation processes and testing workflows • Identify and address weaknesses in automated processes • Work with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to align Test Automation goals with company priorities and strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in software testing or QA • Experience preferably in SaaS or web applications • Experience with programming concepts and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript • Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure • Knowledge of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems • Experience in front-end testing of web applications • Experience in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing • Troubleshooting and analytical skills • Basic log analysis • Practical experience with databases such as MySQL • Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux • Experience with high-volume transactional systems is a plus • Good knowledge of Playwright is a plus
