📋 Description

• Implement software components according to design specifications • Perform system integration and testing • Troubleshoot and resolve problems • Perform unit testing of software components • Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines • Collaborate proactively with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders • Provide technical input into product roadmaps • Participate in incident analysis and prioritization activities • Support and optimize CI/CD processes • Develop and maintain customized software solutions for a large European public-sector software provider • Contribute to a tax administration system covering tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Java development • Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus • Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes) • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS) • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ) • Good understanding of testing principles • Ability to communicate confidently in English • Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams • Experience in Angular front-end development (nice to have) • German or Swiss German language skills (nice to have)
