📋 Description

• Design and implement new Apache Airflow features and components • Improve Airflow performance and resiliency • Iterate on and improve Airflow’s developer experience • Improve code quality and test coverage while reducing test runtime • Participate in the Airflow community through Slack, mailing lists, and GitHub • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results • Liaise with customers, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions • Contribute to the Airflow ecosystem and steward the open-source community • Promote new Airflow features at conferences and events

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Python developer with 5+ years of experience • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and explore new ideas • Experience in troubleshooting complex issues • Strong knowledge of building scalable and distributed systems • A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends • Good at writing unit tests and appreciation of different forms of automated testing • Cooperation, listening, information sharing, support, and feedback skills • Communication skills across GitHub, Slack, Zoom, email, and pair programming sessions • Experience with Apache Airflow in production environments (bonus) • Data Engineering experience (bonus) • Contributions to open-source projects (bonus) • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker (bonus) • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (bonus) • Experience with React (bonus)
