📋 Description

• Lead and manage the serverless containers team, including hiring, coaching, performance, growth paths, and feedback • Own the container platform end to end across image delivery, placement, request routing, scale-up, and scale-to-zero for CPU and GPU • Solve cold-start performance through snapshotting, prewarming, and image-layer caching • Build support for GPU-backed containers, streaming responses, long-lived connections, and MCP servers • Write Go alongside the team and own architecture and difficult implementation decisions • Develop engineers and establish standards for ownership • Partner with Product Managers to turn platform decisions into a product developers want to deploy on

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of people leadership experience • Experience managing engineers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, growth paths, and feedback • Production experience shipping systems in Go • Experience building container or workload platforms, including orchestration, scheduling, isolation, and request routing • Deep Linux knowledge, including namespaces, cgroups, image layers, and page cache • Understanding of multi-tenancy, density, isolation, and fairness across a shared fleet • Significant experience building complex backend or infrastructure systems • Experience partnering with product, design, and business teams to ship software to real users • Low-ego, team-first mindset
