📋 Description

• Design and ship cloud infrastructure systems • Write Go code alongside the engineering team • Own architecture and the hardest implementation decisions • Run Kubernetes in production and handle platform incidents • Own delivery of the team roadmap with required reliability and performance • Lead and develop a small squad of engineers • Partner with Product Managers to set priorities, scope initiatives, and make technical and business tradeoffs • Define team processes and execution rituals • Raise engineering standards through code review, mentoring, and knowledge sharing • Build systems supporting sovereign AI deployments on European-jurisdiction infrastructure • Scale cloud infrastructure toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience shipping systems in Go • Production Kubernetes experience and understanding of its underlying layers • Direct Linux experience • Deep expertise in storage, networking, or observability preferred • Broad familiarity across the rest of the infrastructure stack • Developer mindset focused on building infrastructure • 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems • At least 2 years leading engineers • Experience partnering with product, design, and business teams to ship software used by real users • Low-ego, team-first mindset • Current location must be provided in the application • Complex production systems written in Go • Experience leading at least 2 engineers for 2 or more years • Experience designing and building infrastructure from scratch
