📋 Description

• Serve as a product expert and key contact on large or complex service projects. • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, both on-site and via phone. • Diagnose product issues and implement effective repair solutions. • Schedule service appointments and order necessary parts. • Perform complex repairs independently and safely using hand and power tools. • Train and mentor lower-level Field Service Technicians. • Provide feedback to leadership on technician performance and product issues. • Determine warranty vs. installation issues and communicate with distributors as needed. • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and submit reports promptly. • Ensure job sites are left clean and restored to original condition. • Maintain inventory and cleanliness of service vehicle and warehouse supplies. • Support Team Leader with inspections and coordination when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 3–5 years of experience in window and door manufacturing or repair • Strong knowledge of PGT products and warranties • Clean driving record per PGT’s safe driving policy • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows • Familiarity with iPads and mobile devices for documentation and scheduling • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities • Valid Class D driver’s license • Aerial Lift Qualification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
