• Proactive identification and acquisition of new customers at national and international levels (with a focus on the association sector) • Preparation of proposals and bid books, handling national and international tenders, and planning communication and client activities • Conducting site inspections and providing consultation, accompanying clients together with project management through to contract conclusion • Contributing to the strategic marketing of Messe München's LOCATIONS both internally and externally • Representing Messe München's LOCATIONS in national and international industry associations and at trade fairs • Supporting association and committee work and maintaining a network of agency and PCO contacts
• University degree, preferably in business or in tourism, cultural or hotel management, or an equivalent vocational qualification • Several years of professional experience in sales or congress and event management, preferably in an internationally active company, an association, a PCO, or an event agency • Resilient, flexible with regard to working hours and organization, a team player with strong communication skills • Confident, service-oriented manner when dealing with internal and external customers • Fluent German and English, spoken and written; additional European language skills are an advantage • Excellent MS Office 365 skills and initial experience with CRM systems
