• Engage with MobilizeGreen staff and and partners to implement the 2026 Virtual YCP program comprising 2 cohorts. • Lead the virtual crew with your team. • Facilitate curriculum with youth (specifically content related to environmental issues, wildfire management, ecology, sustainability, careers in the outdoor sector, recreating outdoors, public lands, and professional development). • Coordinate meeting times within program hours to mentor youth on individual and small group projects. • Communicate effectively with your Program Coordinator, Program Assistants, and fellow Crew Leaders. • Coordinate sessions with others including partners and panel participants. • Organize and store program materials digitally as directed by Program Coordinator.
• At least 2 years out of high school. • Must be 21 years or older. • 2-3 seasons leading youth in formal or informal education, camp, or team setting. • Experience in environmental education and outdoor leadership skills. • Experience working virtually, including ability to use programs such as Zoom, Discord, Cisco's WebEx, G-Suite, and Google Classroom. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage youth in programming. • Dedicated commitment to expanding youth participation and engagement in outdoor learning and recreation. • Skilled in developing educational materials and communications on environmental stewardship, resource management, outdoor career pathways, and nature-based experiences. • Ability to work both independently and with others collaboratively on projects. • Interest & knowledge in environment/natural resource management. • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
