• Act independently and with discretion in managing the company's security-related manners related to defense contracting. • Responsible for standing up and maintaining the FCL for a possessing facility. • Ensuring sustained compliance of security documentation for other cleared individuals within the company. • Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department. • Oversee and refine employee procedures and suggest improvements to internal operating activities, keeping in mind existing HR guidelines. • Implement and improve employee benefits programs, including health, compensation, insurance and other HR functions. • Guarantee compliance with national and local HR Strategy by conducting detailed investigations and maintaining records and ensuring compliance with local and federal employment laws. • Manage personnel clearance applications, including CAC (Common Access Card) applications. • Interface with government contacts on security matters, such as contacts at DCSA and contract POCs. • Maintain security documentation internally and through DISS/NISS.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED). • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. • A minimum of three years in human resources management experience preferred. • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is desired. • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a facility security role supporting government contracts or defense contractors. • Familiarity with processes relevant to maintaining a facility clearance (FCL). • Completed relevant STEPP training for a possessing facility. • Ability to travel (<10% time). • Active/current security clearance at T3 level or higher. • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA, DISS, NISS, and related federal security standards. • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently. • Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail. • Willingness to learn, and adaptability to understand and create new procedures.
