📋 Description
• Momentum is a fast-growing company specializing in driving AI transformation for revenue teams; as VP of Finance, you will build and lead the finance function from the ground up. • Own end-to-end FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking; translate data into strategic insights. • Lead fundraising, investor relations, board communications, and financial modeling. • Oversee day-to-day finance operations: accounting, payroll, tax, treasury, and expense management; implement scalable controls. • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align financial goals with GTM and product strategies. • Build data-driven decision-making by providing financial context to operational plans and investments. • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-impact finance team.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; MBA or CPA is strongly preferred. • 7-8 years of progressive finance leadership experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies, including FP&A and operational finance. • Demonstrated success scaling finance functions through Series B or Series C fundraising cycles. • Exceptional analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering. • Proven track record managing fundraising processes, investor relations, and board reporting. • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.) and revenue recognition principles. • Excellent communicator, able to distill complex financial data into clear narratives for diverse stakeholders. • Collaborative leadership style with a bias for action and a passion for building high-impact teams. • Experience in AI-driven or data-centric technology environments. • Prior exposure to international operations, including multi-entity operations and tax considerations. • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup culture and navigating ambiguity.
