📋 Description

• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation • Automate system configurations using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Collaborate with teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines • Gain practical experience with policy as code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent and HashiCorp Sentinel • Translate high-level security requirements into practical policy as code implementations across cloud and on-premises environments • Support implementation and scaling of automated security controls in Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, and operating systems • Monitor infrastructure management and automation trends to maintain a robust, scalable system foundation • Contribute to the Mondoo Platform, including its policy engine, resources, scale, and multi-region functionality • Help teams assess, scope, prioritize, triage, and remediate security findings

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or a similar language • Knowledge of networking basics, including TCP/IP and DNS • Experience with version control systems such as Git • Willingness to learn and grow into security policies and automation • Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills • Familiarity with Open Policy Agent or HashiCorp Sentinel preferred • Knowledge of CIS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliance standards preferred • Exposure to cloud-native security tools and services preferred • Relevant AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications preferred • GitHub/GitLab repositories or portfolio demonstrating security policy implementation, policy as code, and cloud security tools • Must be based in and have the right to work in Bulgaria or Germany
