📋 Description

• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation • Automate system configurations using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines • Gain experience with policy as code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent and HashiCorp Sentinel • Translate high-level security requirements into practical policy as code implementations across cloud and on-premises environments • Support automated security controls in Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, and operating systems • Monitor infrastructure management and automation trends to maintain a robust, scalable system foundation • Assess, scope, prioritize, triage, and remediate security findings • Contribute to the Mondoo Platform, including its policy engine, resources, scale, and multi-region functionality

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP, and its core services • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Comfortable scripting in at least one language, such as Python or Bash • Knowledge of networking basics, including TCP/IP and DNS • Experience with version control systems such as Git • Willingness to learn and grow into security policies and automation • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms are preferred • Familiarity with Open Policy Agent or HashiCorp Sentinel is preferred • Knowledge of CIS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliance standards is preferred • Portfolio or GitHub/GitLab repositories demonstrating security policy implementation, policy as code, and relevant cloud security tools • Based in Germany or Bulgaria and authorized to work there
