📋 Description

• Design systems, applications, and infrastructure using MongoDB and the Atlas data platform • Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for using MongoDB • Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions • Support sales through technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria • Translate technical concepts into business benefits for management and executives • Collect field feedback and relay it to Product Management • Participate in trade shows and account-based marketing events • Support and mentor pre-sales team members and share standard methodologies • Enable solutions architects with search technical and business knowledge and build demonstration tools • Collaborate with Product Management on Search and AI direction

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of search or information retrieval expertise (Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, Algolia, Milvus, Qdrant, or similar) • 3+ years of software development experience or pre-sales experience with enterprise software • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish • Ability to code with two or more modern scripting languages and/or popular programming languages • Solid understanding of how to use AI agents in day-to-day work • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
