📋 Description

• Build and maintain a scalable UI ecosystem spanning multiple products, teams, and platforms • Own component libraries, interaction models, and cross-platform design consistency • Maintain high standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, visual hierarchy, and digital finish • Design, build, and maintain reusable component libraries across products • Define interactive behaviors and state transitions, including hover, focus, disabled, loading, and mobile behaviors • Structure and maintain design tokens for colours, spacing, typography, border-radius, and shadows • Organize Figma variants, properties, and components to support product designers • Partner with engineering teams across Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS/Native environments • Create usage guidelines and documentation for component governance • Drive adoption, cross-platform consistency, documentation quality, and scalable architecture • Participate in portfolio review, recruiter call, leadership interviews, design leadership challenge, and final executive conversation

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience building, scaling, and maintaining production-ready design systems • Deep understanding of constraints and guidelines across Web, iOS, and Android • Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and scalable design decisions across multiple products • Strong familiarity with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories • Advanced Figma proficiency, including libraries, auto-layout, components, variants, variables, and library publication • Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG), contrast requirements, and inclusive design principles • Familiarity with component-driven frameworks such as React and Flutter • Knowledge of Atomic Design methodology • Excellent writing and presentation skills • Resume and portfolio showcasing leadership in managing design teams, driving strategy, and delivering user-centred solutions with measurable business impact • Case studies demonstrating leadership and development of designers, project prioritization and management, research, data, experimentation, workflow optimization, and success metrics
