📋 Description

• Agreeing to responsibilities for deliverables in project plans • Understanding requirements for the system components to be developed or updated • Creating and/or understanding conceptual and detailed designs for the system components being developed or updated • Coding additions or amendments to system components as directed by the project manager • Unit testing of new or amended code • Creating and executing test plans according to agreed project plans • Participating in implementation of new or amended systems • Escalation of issues as appropriate to the project manager • Following working practices used within the team • Providing Level 3 support - possibly after hours • Reviewing project documentation to understand deliverables • Designing, coding and testing new or amended system functionality • Creating system documentation as required • Working with other team members to ensure the success of the project • Providing status and progress updates to the project manager as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. • 8 years of Python Dev in Mainframe or distributed systems. • Experience with JavaScript • Understanding of mainframe operating systems (z/OS) • Experience in a Linux OS environment is highly preferred • Experience with either PostGRES or DB2 is highly preferred
