📋 Description

• Lead project execution from design through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget • Prepare proposals, support pursuit presentations, and participate in contract negotiations • Develop and maintain accurate project financials, including projections, billing, and cost control • Allocate project estimates into financial systems and manage cost codes and invoicing • Oversee subcontractor and supplier selection, contract buyouts, and billing • Manage and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including performance feedback and development • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and on-site representatives, resolving concerns and fostering long-term relationships • Manage change orders, ensuring timely submission and approval • Ensure compliance with Mortenson’s safety, quality, and risk management standards • Promote an inclusive work environment and uphold Mortenson’s values and ethical standards • Provide leadership that supports team collaboration, accountability, and high performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience • Minimum 7 years of construction management experience on large-scale projects ($20M+) • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders • Strong financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and forecasting • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software • Knowledge of construction law, business practices, and contract management • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills • Ability to travel overnight up to 100% • Valid driver’s license
