📋 Description

• Managing and executing customer installation activities within agreed upon project timeframes. • Verifying the complete functionality and readiness of systems for software deployment. • Conducting routine system tasks like software updates, system upgrades, data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting. • Gaining a deep understanding of public safety customer environments to ensure optimal product security and reliability. • Demonstrating proficient software and IP networking skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Delivering solutions that align with existing products, standard interfaces, and pre-defined procedures. • Adhering to all corporate guidelines and completing required training, including CJIS compliance. • Accurately logging billable hours for project work. • Travel (50%-75%) will be required, depending on project and business needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology or 5+ years of experience deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems. • Proven experience installing, administering, and troubleshooting: Server Virtualization/Containerization: Specifically VMware ESXi v.7+ and/or Red Hat OpenShift. • Database Servers: Particularly Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and later. • Server Operating Systems: Including Windows Server 2019 and later. • Workstation Operating Systems: Such as Windows 10 & 11, and Linux. • Network LAN Switches: Experience with HP Arista is a plus. • Storage Area Network (SAN): Experience with HPE Alletra and Nimble is a plus. • Basic Firewall and Router knowledge: Fortinet Fortigate experience is a plus. • Server and Workstation hardware: Experience with HPE compute hardware is a plus. • Windows Active Directory (AD) administration including Group Policy Object (GPO) and Domain Name System (DNS). • Experience using TeamCity is a plus. • Prior experience with the deployment, integration, operations, or administration of Public Safety Applications. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
