📋 Description

• The Engineer will work with a field team of Project Management, Systems Engineers, System Technologists, Construction Managers, and Customer Service Managers, and will be responsible for leading technical aspects of the assigned project until system acceptance. • Design and implementation of the radio network including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul and WAN and CEN networks. • High level of customer and consultant interaction involving customer design reviews, customer witnessed staging and acceptance testing events, coverage acceptance testing, live system upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts. • System buildout, configuration and acceptance testing in both lab staging and field environments. • Live system cutovers and upgrades.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 3+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 5 years of engineering or technical experience • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. • Experience with P25 Land Mobile Radio terminology and two-way subscriber radio provisioning methods. • Knowledge of the systems to include: VMware ESXI, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems. • Knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS). • Certifications a plus through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar a plus.
