📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data from multiple sources. • Model and manage data in Google BigQuery and other data environments, with a focus on performance, cost, and the organization of data layers. • Write complex and efficient SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis. • Integrate and maintain PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring consistency across environments. • Automate processing and data-loading routines using Python. • Implement data quality controls, pipeline monitoring, and failure handling. • Document data flows, models, and business rules. • Support analytics and product teams in making data available for dashboards and key performance indicators. • Safeguard data security and privacy in compliance with Brazil’s LGPD data protection law. • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that integrate information from different education networks and systems, ensuring quality, traceability, and availability for analytics, product, and management teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. • Demonstrated professional experience as a Data Engineer. • Advanced SQL proficiency. • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery. • Experience building and maintaining ETL processes. • Knowledge of PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Firestore, or similar technologies. • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and processing. • Experience working with education-sector or public-sector data. • Knowledge of orchestration tools, such as Airflow, n8n, or similar technologies. • Experience with BI tools, such as Metabase or Looker Studio. • Familiarity with version control (Git) and software engineering best practices. • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services beyond BigQuery. • Knowledge of Brazil’s LGPD as it applies to data processing.
