📋 Description

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees (~800 employees), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll on a semi-monthly basis. • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements. • Own payroll issue resolution, effectively collaborating and communicating with internal and external partners. • Partner with the People Operations, Benefits and external vendors to ensure accurate benefit deductions and payroll-related transactions. • Act as a subject matter expert and resource for payroll best practices, laws, and system capabilities continually looking for opportunities to standardize and scale payroll processes and procedures. • Assist with year-end activities, including W-2s, T4s, tax filings, and audits. • Mentor and guide Payroll Administrator.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting Finance or related field • AND 7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably across U.S. and Canadian payrolls. • OR equivalent combination of education • Strong knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations. • Experience with payroll systems. ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred. • Strong customer service focus with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and partner with key stakeholders. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. • Experience working in cross-functional environments. • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent designation is a plus. • Commitment to our values: Welcoming differences, Being relationship-minded, Practicing responsible participation, Having grit.
