• Primary point of contact for scientific leaders in the therapeutic areas of skin tumors, head and neck tumors, and hematologic neoplasms with specialists in hematology, oncologists and radiation oncologists, as well as the respective organ oncologists in hospitals and practices within the assigned territory • Responsible for establishing new contacts and maintaining existing relationships • Approximately 80% field-based role involving direct customer contact • Customer-focused preparation and provision of scientific information • Presentation and discussion of the product pipeline and associated novel mechanisms of action in the supported indications • Identification of local research needs including promotion and oversight of scientific research projects such as MISP (Investigator Studies Program), local studies (LDG and registries) in close collaboration with the Medical Advisor • Organization, support and execution of regional scientific events in the territory, as well as at the national level (Expert Input Forum) • Virtual and in-person presentations to internal and external stakeholders • Close collaboration with Medical Advisors, Project Managers/Clinical Research Associates, Market Access Managers, Franchise/Brand and Business/Customer Managers (BCM)
• Degree in medicine or pharmacy; alternatively a scientific degree with a PhD • At least 2 years' prior experience in clinical oncology, or proven successful experience in Medical Affairs in oncology within a pharmaceutical company, preferably in the relevant indications, is required • Solid knowledge of the relevant oncological therapeutic areas, the scientific environment, networks, and study groups • Strong communication and negotiation skills when interacting with diverse stakeholders both outside and inside the company • Proven ability to integrate into diverse teams, persuade and motivate team members • Strong interest in scientific topics and knowledge transfer; confident presentation skills • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements • Understanding of the regulatory framework and experience with regulatory environments is an advantage • Fluent English required
