📋 Description
• Provide oversight and management of high-volume statewide commercial foreclosure matters • Act as a liaison between the firm and clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other foreclosure personnel • Manage files by applicable foreclosure rules and firm-established timelines • Review and execute various pleadings and correspondence • Maintain accurate updates in client and firm management systems • Argue the merits of assigned cases at hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials
🎯 Requirements
• Admitted to practice in New York • Experience in real estate, mortgage and/or commercial litigation strongly preferred • Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, as well as any applicable state and federal debt collection and real property law a plus • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and document drafting.
