📋 Description

• Design, build, and enhance scalable data pipelines for ad server and ancillary data sources • Ingest and normalize data from SSPs, DSPs, ad servers such as GAM, and third-party reporting APIs • Develop ETL/ELT workflows to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets • Create data models for campaign performance optimization, supply analysis, supply allocations, and profit maximization • Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and anomaly detection for data streams • Support Executive, BI, and analytics teams with clean, documented, performant data infrastructure • Ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance in data collection, storage, and processing • Work on data infrastructure powering real-time analytics and dashboards for campaign optimization, workflow management, efficiency, and growth

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience • 2+ years working with programmatic advertising and ad-tech data (GAM) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Hands-on experience with data warehouses: BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse • Experience with batch processing frameworks: Spark, dbt, Airflow • Understanding of ad-tech data structures: bid requests, impressions, OpenRTB schemas, log-level data • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP • Experience with infrastructure-as-code • Familiarity with SSP reporting APIs and log-level data: Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, Xandr • Experience with Google Ad Manager reporting, Data Transfer files, and BigQuery exports • Ability to work partial US work hours and be available until 2pm ET • Knowledge of revenue metrics including CPM, eCPM, RPM, fill rate, win rate, and bid density • Knowledge of auction analytics, demand partner performance, supply chain data, and related ad-tech metrics • Scala is nice to have • Experience with ML feature engineering for bid optimization or yield prediction is nice to have • Background in publisher-side monetization data products is nice to have • Familiarity with privacy-preserving data techniques is nice to have • Experience with CTV/OTT advertising data is nice to have • Knowledge of identity resolution and cross-device data challenges is nice to have
