📋 Description

• Design, build, and enhance scalable data pipelines processing ad server and ancillary data sources • Ingest and normalize data from multiple SSPs, DSPs, ad servers including GAM, and third-party reporting APIs • Develop ETL/ELT workflows to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets • Create data models for campaign performance optimization, supply analysis, supply allocations, and profit maximization • Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and anomaly detection for data streams • Support Executive, BI, and analytics teams with clean, documented, performant data infrastructure • Ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance in data collection, storage, and processing

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience • 2+ years working with programmatic advertising and ad-tech data (GAM) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Hands-on experience with data warehouses including BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, and ClickHouse • Experience with batch processing frameworks including Spark, dbt, and Airflow • Understanding of bid requests, impressions, OpenRTB schemas, and log-level data • Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms • Experience with infrastructure-as-code • Ability to work partial US work hours and remain available until 2pm ET • Familiarity with SSP reporting APIs and log-level data from Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, and Xandr • Experience with Google Ad Manager reporting, Data Transfer files, and BigQuery exports • Familiarity with ad-tech revenue metrics including CPM, eCPM, RPM, fill rate, win rate, and bid density • Knowledge of auction analytics, demand partner performance, supply chain data, ads.txt validation, sellers.json mapping, and SPO analysis • Technical stack knowledge: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, dbt, Apache Flink, BigQuery, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, S3, GCS, Delta Lake, Parquet, AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes • Experience with ML feature engineering for bid optimization or yield prediction (nice to have) • Background building data products for publisher-side monetization (nice to have) • Familiarity with differential privacy and clean rooms (nice to have) • Experience with CTV/OTT advertising data and video ad metrics (nice to have) • Knowledge of identity resolution and cross-device data challenges (nice to have)
