📋 Description

• Design, build, and enhance scalable data pipelines processing ad server and ancillary data • Ingest and normalize data from SSPs, DSPs, ad servers including GAM, and third-party reporting APIs • Develop ETL/ELT workflows that transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets • Create data models for campaign performance optimization, supply analysis, supply allocations, and profit maximization • Build and maintain data warehouses and lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and anomaly detection for data streams • Support Executive, BI, and analytics teams with clean, documented, performant data infrastructure • Ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance in data collection, storage, and processing • Process massive volumes of data and billions of events to power real-time analytics and business intelligence dashboards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience • 2+ years working with programmatic advertising and ad-tech data (GAM) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or ClickHouse • Experience with batch processing frameworks including Spark, dbt, or Airflow • Understanding of bid requests, impressions, OpenRTB schemas, and log-level data • Experience with AWS or GCP and infrastructure-as-code • Ability to work partial US work hours and be available until 2pm ET • Familiarity with SSP reporting APIs and log-level data, including Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, and Xandr • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager reporting, Data Transfer files, and BigQuery exports • Knowledge of ad-tech revenue metrics including CPM, eCPM, RPM, fill rate, win rate, and bid density • Knowledge of auction analytics, including bid landscape, floor optimization, and timeout analysis • Knowledge of demand partner performance metrics, including SSP/bidder scoring, latency analysis, viewability, reach/frequency, and IVT • Knowledge of ads.txt validation, sellers.json mapping, and SPO analysis • Scala experience is nice to have • Experience with ML feature engineering for bid optimization or yield prediction is nice to have • Background in publisher-side monetization data products is nice to have • Familiarity with differential privacy and clean rooms is nice to have • Experience with CTV/OTT advertising data and video ad metrics is nice to have • Knowledge of identity resolution and cross-device data challenges is nice to have
